This parish was blighted with a dragon who dwelt in a burrow, only venturing out at night. However, one day it decided to bask in the sun and whilst it slept the villagers quickly blocked up its hole. Upon awaking and finding its lair un-enterable, it fled to the ruins of St Benet's Abbey.
